New Member Ashley Bell Barnett inducted on Sept. 16

The Dick Pope/Polk County Chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association (FPRA) welcomed Ashley Bell Barnett as the chapter's newest professional member during the Sept. 16 meeting and luncheon.

Ms. Barnett, who began her career as an elementary and middle school educator, now serves as the marketing facilitator for Polk County Schools' Workforce Education Department. "I currently promote the value of career centers and career academics," said Ms. Barnett.

"We are excited to welcome Ms. Barnett to FPRA and look forward to her active involvement in our chapter," said Cindy Rodriguez Communications Director for Polk County Government in her role as president of the Dick Pope/Polk County FPRA chapter.

According to Rodriguez, "Making it Count" is the chapter's theme and focus for the next 12 months and the induction of Ms. Barnett demonstrates that they are off to a great start, already "making it count" in the area of professional member recruitment.
