LEDC's Claudia Tritton to Discuss Lakeland Economic Development Activity at FPRA Meeting on July 15Monday, July 6Lakeland economic development activity will be in the spotlight when Claudia Tritton, business development director of the Lakeland Economic Development Council (LEDC), serves as guest speaker at the monthly professional development meeting of the Dick Pope/Polk County Chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association (FPRA) on Wednesday, July 15. The meeting, to be held at the Hilton Garden Inn in west Lakeland , will begin at 11:30 am with networking, followed by Tritton's talk and Power Point presentation titled "The Lakeland Update." The meeting also includes a buffet luncheon and is priced at $20 for FPRA members and $25 for guests. "With the economy of great concern to everyone, we decided to invite Claudia Tritton to give us an update on economic development in Lakeland and what she sees in store for the future of Polk County's largest city," said Kris Keprios of Polk County Tourism and Sports Marketing, president of the Dick Pope/Polk County FPRA chapter. Now in her sixth year with LEDC, Tritton is responsible for managing leads, business recruitment and promoting Lakeland as a site for economic expansion.
