Karen KovachKaren Kovach, Principal/Founder Third Wing Business Strategies, LLC will be our guest speaker September 19, 2012 at the Lakeland Yacht & Country Club. Karen will speak on “will technology solve all your problems…SEO, social media, for example. Point is, technology is only one leg on a three legged stool.

Karen Kovach is a dynamic business creator with real-world experience building succesful businesses, brands and teams. Her accomplishments include developing strategic business plans for a myriad of clients at major advertising agencies, as well as launching a successful independent sales representation firm representing live action, animation, special effects and music and sound design companies to advertising agencies and national advertisers.

Realizing the need to streamline the commercial production process,  Karen founded eCreativeSearch, the first online creative archive for television commercial production companies, directors and agencies worldwide. eCreativeSearch was sold to FastChannel Network and then ultimately DG Systems, a public company. While at FastChannel, Karen was Executive VP Sales Development and responsible for building relationships with such blue-chip clients as Ford, General Mills and Kraft.

Prior to eCreativeSearch, Karen was an executive for sixteen years in the advertising business at firms such as Foote, Cone and Belding, DDB, and Leo Burnett. Karen has been fortunate to work with some of the world’s most dynamic and innovative brands, including General Mills, Frito-Lay, Wrigley and Sears.

As a founder and principal of Third Wing Business Strategies LLC, she has leveraged her business building and marketing expertise to assist clients in small-  to medium-sized businesses in developing and expanding their businesses.

Karen and her husband reside in Lakeland, Florida.  She is involved in many civic endeavors,  serving as a Board member of the Lakeland Chamber of Commerce, Speak Up For Children (Guardian Ad Litem), the Lakeland Yacht and Country Club and the Polk Museum of Art. Previously she served on the Boards of the Learning Resource Center and We Care. She is a member of the Lakeland Leadership Class XXVIII.
